Jojo Remeny started as an apprentice at 16 yrs. of age for Italian tailor Attilio Ripano. When Attilio moved to Cornwall, Jojo moved to Ammi, the tailor who made Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin) and UB40 their suits.
Jojo became exasperated with the snotty bourgeois customers and the fussy precise lines of Tailoring with no creativity. Jojo left to study an HND in Fashion at Stafford College of Art…
Remeny started his own brand and started selling his designs every weekend on Brick Lane East London. Jojo designed and made a knitted long waistcoat for legendary Canadian singer-songwriter Tori Amos.
Jojo also designed and made a dress entirely out of Cadbury chocolate wrappers for Miss England for the miss world competition. The dress was on display at Cadbury World, where the world’s most famous chocolate factory is based in Bournville, Birmingham, England. (please put photos of the chocolate dress here. Some years later, the passion for tailoring was reignited, and Jojo studied bespoke trouser making with Master bespoke tailor Michael who helps out occasionally at Jojo’s shop.
Jojo Remeny has had 3 fashion shows, and at his last unique fashion show, Jojo composed his first symphony played by a 52-piece orchestra live to a catwalk show of his designs.
Jojo studied composition under the great late Indian composer John Mayer for 4 years at Birmingham Conservatoire, now called The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, before recommencing his Tailoring and Fashion designs.
Remeny currently divides his time making designs, bespoke suits, teaching, and playing as a drummer in various jazz ensembles and bands.

Trying my suit on for the first time was a really special moment. How it felt to wear and how it made me feel was amazing. Thank you so much for my wedding suit. Very enjoyable experience. On the big day the suits looked great and we had many positive comments.
Jojo is a very accomplished tailor. His passion exudes through his high-quality work. He has completed some alterations which were beautifully executed. I have since attended his lessons and as a beginner sewer, his level of attention to details and to teaching was amazing. It is evident that his work is a labour of love.
